Parish council meetings days
Usually the first Monday in every other month (January, March, May,
July, September, November), except Bank Holidays, when it is generally
the second Monday. Check on the Parish council
page.
Over 60s Club
Evershot Over 60s Club was formed in 1996. Thanks to the proprietors
of the Acorn Inn, it meets in the Village bar on the third Thursday of
each month at 2:30pm, for tea and a chat. There is also a raffle, the
proceeds of which go towards an outing. Anyone wishing to join us
would be very welcome.
Little Acorns
PlayGroup
The Little Acorns Playgroup meet every Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm in
the village hall. It provides high quality childcare and a happy
environment, with educational and structured activities. It is
registered with OFSTED for 26 children and is a registered charity
(no. 1099880). There is also a holiday club in the summer and
pre-school on Monday afternoons from 12:45pm to 3:15pm. A wide
variety of toys and activities are available, including lots of
cooking and visits to Stickland's School. They now have a website
here.
Little Acorns also run lots of fundraising
events.
Little Acorns Toddler Group
The Little Acorns Toddler Group meets in the village hall on Thursday
afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
